For all of you who would like to track the journey of the white witch from time to time (or all the time) here is a link:
http://marinetraffic.com/ais/shipdetails.aspx?mmsi=235097433
Click it and it allows you to see where the white witch is currently sailing or anchoring.
The link to marine traffic is not working and if I look for the name “White Witch” I only got “White Witch In Blue”.
Could you check it?
Found it! Best URL is:
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/de/shipdetails.aspx?MMSI=235097433
and to place it directly use
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/de/default.aspx?oldmmsi=235097433&zoom=10&olddate=lastknown
Sorry, ít didn’t show because I had the AIS transponder off. It’s usually turned off at night when docket but I just connected it so it will be there in 10 or 20 minutes. I’ll leave it on tonight 🙂
Strange, if I search by “White Witch” I can find her:
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shipdetails.aspx?mmsi=235097433
But you can always search for MMSI which is better: 235097433
🙂
wooow,
if the transpoder is off you don’t apear in the searches.
Now I can see it when looking for White Witch.
Keep adding stuf in the web for the Facebook allergic 🙂
Will do .. this is the main site, Facebook doesn’t get all the updates 🙂
Hey ho guys!
There are two different searches on marinetraffic.com/ais.
One is on the right side on the top header which searches for any entry in their database (therefore finds “white witch” and “white witch in blue”, even if offline),
the other one on the left seems to be the search for “online” vessels (it is called “go to .. something something”). Here one can only find vessels that have their AIS transponders turned on…
Just to let those know who were wondering… 🙂
