You may remember her from your childhood days, when walking into wardrobes was perfectly normal and not to be laughed about. You may know her as the Jadis, that dreadful evil white bitch who wanted to make us step back into the ice age throughout eternity. Or you may know her from her numerous adventures in the seas, where she danced and raced and gave endless moments of pure joy, fun and pleasure to her family the van Bruggen family, and her father, Cpt. Tjapko. van Bruggen.
In whichever way you remember her, or if you simply don’t because you have just met her, this is the story of an old hectic lady who’s been around for a long time and is yet to be for an equally long period, at least. She might very well be older than you dear reader, so don’t you think …
As you read these lines you may as well be told that they are about the White Wicth, this wonderful vessel which has sailed and will sail forever until the end of time; or until she’s tired and wants a rest, whichever comes first.
In the meantime, this will be her personal diary from today onwards, in which her adventures, disadventures, misadventures, and all other kinds of ventures will be talked about.
And so it begins … the chronicles of the White Witch.
Welcome on board!
