The time of raising the sails is coming closer. Before we depart, we must check what’s in all those sail bags we’ve got. Foresails, genoas, storm jib and spinnaker. All spare. Some of them in multiple sizes and variations.
I bought a Portland Course Plotter these days and I have to say: great piece of equipment. This relatively cheap piece of plastic (about 25 Euros) simplifies navigation enormously. No more hassle with triangles and rulers. Calculationg course and current is as easy as writing a shopping list!
