Not a lot of news around here recently, mostly because it is winter and the Witch is hibernating ashore. But as Spring approaches, the countdown for the adventure starts ticking and if ever there was a better time to say, “I can’t wait much longer”, that time is now.
But anyway, a quick bit of news to shaken things up … The Witch just got her new call sign (TWO GOLF HOTEL MIKE EIGHT or 2GHM8) and an MMSI: 235 097 433.
No-one really uses call-signs anymore I shouldn’t think, not with the advent of DSC anyway, but the MMSI might be helpful to find and track us on sites such as http://marinetraffic.com/ais/
