The time of raising the sails is coming closer. Before we depart, we must check what’s in all those sail bags we’ve got. Foresails, genoas, storm jib and spinnaker. All spare. Some of them in multiple sizes and variations.
I bought a Portland Course Plotter these days and I have to say: great piece of equipment. This relatively cheap piece of plastic (about 25 Euros) simplifies navigation enormously. No more hassle with triangles and rulers. Calculationg course and current is as easy as writing a shopping list!

These are the drawings for the new brass panel for radio, AIS, Plotter and future devices. Let’s see how nice it will come from the metal artist… A new electric panel for fuses and switches is planned, too.
As the sailing season is about to start, we have started making plans and preparing ourselves and the old lady to be ready in the end of march. That’s when we’ll all be on the water again! Stay tuned!
